Inherited causes of pain

Fascinating things can happen when I work on people. I’ve learned to expect the unexpected and this was very true of a session I had with a nurse who works long hours in a hospital.

He had a problem. The heal of his left foot had been hurting for seven years and started when he went through a divorce. On a 1 to 10 scale, 10 being the worst, he rated his pain on a daily basis between 6 and 8.

He sought help from several doctors and tried their recommendations. Nothing helped. He was very skeptical an energy session could help but was willing to try.

Note: This is a clue. When a pain or problem persists after traditional approaches have been attempted, I’ve found it’s a sign there is an energetic imbalance.

In his consultation session, I released 2-trapped emotions from age 7. He returned for his first full session a few days later. I could sense his surprise when he said the pain was down to a 4 or 5 out of 10. “It’s the best relief I’ve ever had.” With that good news, we began focusing on underlying causes for the pain and were led to release his Heart Wall.

Six of the emotions I released all came from the same great, great, great, great grandfather – 6 generations back. I find it unusual to find so many trapped energies coming from the same ancestor in one session, particularly going back that far.

I found and released overwhelm, abandonment, depression, forlorn, unsupported and terror. My client had access to his family tree so he and his wife decided to research what they could about him.

At his next session, my client had big news. The left heel pain was gone! That was amazing in itself but then, they shared what they learned from their research from this person who lived in the 1700 & 1800s.

My client shares the same birth date with this great, great, great, great grandfather, November 4th. What a coincidence!

They also learned his first wife died in her early 20s leaving him with 2 small children. We’ll never know for sure, but it might explain the abandonment, depression and other trapped emotions we found and released.

It’s fascinating to think that what can cause us pain and other discomforts are energies created in the lives of our ancestors. This is not the first time I’ve found fascinating correlations to past ancestors. You can read more on the Emotion Code page under the heading “Inherited Trapped Emotions”.

An Epigentics study released in 2015 by Dr. Rachel Yehuda, Director of Mt. Sinai’s Traumatic Stress Studies, helps to begin to explain this phenomena. In this study, she researched parents who were children during the Holocaust. The study found that the children of these survivors were at greater risk for anxiety and depression.

They studied what’s known as the “stress-related gene” in both the surviving parent and in their children. It was found the gene itself did not change. Rather, they found both the parent and child shared the exact same chemical marker attached to the same gene.

What does that mean? “Parental life experiences can modify their body chemistry — and those modifications can be transmitted to children as well.” This study did not address how it was possible for this to occur.

As an Energy Practitioner, I find this intriguing. Could this be the route trapped energies are passed down generation to generation? It might be a very long time before we know. In the meantime, I’ll continue to find and release inherited emotions discovering more fascinating stories along the way.

You can learn more about the study in this PBS interview.
